Ghostly Websites Worth Visiting
selected by the Hollow Hill Staff
Ghostly sites seem to run hot or cold. Either they're very good, or
they're hideously disappointing. Here are some worth a visit:
- Ghosts in general - These have been around for a long time:
- Regional ghost websites
- Jamie's Chicagoland Gangster Ghost Page, with photos, first-person stories, and more. Fun site.
- Haunted Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ghost hunt while
on vacation!
- Haunted Nevada, a rich, graphic-intensive
site, has everything from miners' ghosts to gamblers' and even Elvis! Thoughtfully presented,
with nice quotations.
- Massachusetts Ghosts and Legends
The Ghost Club
in England, founded 1862. One of the oldest organizations for ghost researchers and fans.
- American Ghost Hunters Society, aka Ghosts
of the Prairie, a
commercial site with sometimes-controversial opinions. Scroll through the lengthy
ads for several helpful info pages. Opposes digital cameras for documentation.
- Webcams for online ghost hunters! (Most update every 30 seconds.)
- First-person ghost stories - many of these are informal, but
certainly supply a preponderance of evidence
- Spirits, including ghosts:
- Other useful links:
You can get a
degree in Parapsychology at
Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire (USA).
- Hauntings magazine, where you can submit your ghost story for publication.
- Where to find even more ghosts, and great ghostly and paranormal links, too (listed alphabetically):
