There have been very few ghost-related news stories these past couple of weeks. However, some are worth your time. Frankly, at Hollow Hill, we're inspired by the apartment decor described in the EyeWeekly article (8 Dec, below).

The Leach mansion at Indian Riverside Park, atop a 4,000-year-old Indian dump hill known as a midden, has been the target of vandals since described as a possibly haunted house.

Ofcom, which monitors British television programming, declared "Most Haunted" an entertainment show, therefore it cannot be charged with duping its audience; it's not a documentary.

Former KGB chief Vladimir Kryuchkov discusses KGB research of UFOs and other paranormal phenomena, says that it's "pure imagination."
5 Dec - 'Ghost fleet' to haunt park along Potomac - Baltimore Sun, MD
Since 1776, ships have been abandoned at Mallows Bay, a shallow bay near Nanjemoy. Today, over 200 ships are there, and some are rumored to be haunted. (article by Tom Pelton)

Preservation society will renovate Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield (site of Shawshank Redemption filming), and hopes that it's haunted.

Description of ghost hunting focuses on Baltimore Society for Paranormal Research, and makes reference to Poe's ghost.
1 Dec - Remembering 'The Ghost of the Stottsville Inn' - ParkesBurg Post Ledger, PA
Stottsville Inn, a restaurant and B&B along the Strasburg Road in Pomeroy, is home to Josephine Scott Chandler, a 19th century ghost who'd been murdered by her husband.
