Real ghosts? You Decide.
We review the best ghost photos that we've seen. Are these evidence of real ghosts? We present two different opinions. You decide what to believe.

Spring, Texas, USA - 12 March 2005

The Photographer Says:
Are these ghosts? These two pictures were taken in Spring, Texas. It was a very dry, cool, bug-free night. There were no reflective surfaces nearby. There was some kind of irrigation ditch (?) in front of us, and we were looking back towards a wooded area. Nothing in the first photo (left) but significant orbs about a second later (right photo). The water in the ditch was very low and not splashing or rushing. We have several photos like each of these. Some have orbs, some don't. The area felt haunted. Camera notes: Digital camera, ISO 100.

The Skeptic Says:
Water nearby? We have to discount these photos completely. The orbs could be moisture in the air. But what's that odd fuzzy area on the right side of the first photo? I'm more interested in that. Since this is a digital photo, it's not a light leak. Next time hold the camera completely still between pictures. I don't know if I'm looking at the exact same place in both pictures.

The site could be haunted, or it might not. The water nearby makes photos unreliable at best. This proves nothing.

The Believer Says:
The photographer says that the water wasn't splashing or rushing, so it may not be a factor. If moisture in the air was causing the orbs, we'd see orbs in both photos. That's why it's important always to take two photos of each location, and from approximately the same angle when you can. We see orbs in just one of the two pictures. They look like the classic non-moisture "ghost orbs." I believe that those are genuine ghost orbs in the right photo. This place looks haunted to me.
