We have no idea what this is. It's not exposed film; the colored area does not
extend outside the frame of the picture. The negative shows no damage, either, so it's not
a splash of chemicals or water, or some other surface effect.
Three of us were talking in
Gilson Road Cemetery, and there was a stone-on-stone noise from a grave about
three feet away from me.
The photographer checked to see if the noise was just cameras hitting each other, or the
stone we were standing on, rocking. Nope. Different sound.
Anyway, a few minutes later, the photographer took two photos, saying, "Something about
this holds my interest." And these are the photographs.
We're not claiming this
is "ghostly" energy. It's just strange.
Photos taken 26 Nov 1999 at about 5:30 p.m., and--when this was taken--it was a misty night.
Obviously, some photos came out pretty clear.
So there it is.
Camera: Olympus AF-1 point-and-shoot
Film: Kodak Max 800 ASA (sensitive, for night photography)
