Hollow Hill Courses and Certification

There are four major steps in any professional ghost investigation:

• Level One: Find a haunted location and verify that something odd is going on.
• Level Two: Look for natural explanations for the phenomena.
• Level Three: Having ruled out what's normal, identify and document the exact nature of what's paranormal.
• Level Four: If appropriate, help the spirit/s cross over, clear the negative energy from the location, etc.

At Hollow Hill, our courses are designed to address each area of an investigation, separately. Start with the basics, and then choose additional courses that focus on your interests. Study at your own pace, and at reasonable prices. No Hollow Hill course costs more than $100, and most cost $30 or less. (We can afford low prices because our courses are so popular.)

All courses come on CD and include a diploma, so that your clients know that you've been trained by experts with over 40 years in the field of ghost research. Every CD includes files for both Mac and PC computers, ready to print out to begin your studies right away.

INDIVIDUAL COURSES

Level One: Find a haunted location and verify that something odd is going on.

• INTRODUCTION TO GHOST HUNTING

  A basic, illustrated course. You learn to find haunted locations, and use basic and professional-level tools to determine if a site is worth investigating. Graduates of this course have the knowledge and skills to participate in ghost hunts, and--in some cases--organize them. After completing this course, you can reach a professional level through independent research. Or, you can dramatically shorten the trail-and-error period by taking additional courses with Hollow Hill.

  A printable, Ghost Hunter certificate is on the CD. This course is designed for beginners. It is also an optional level of study for researchers who already have an extensive background in the paranormal, but like to be reminded of areas that they may want to develop further.

  After this course, you are qualified to: Go on ghost hunts, find haunted sites on your own, and research independently or continue with more formal study.

Level Two: Look for natural explanations for the phenomena.

• PSYCHIC DISTURBANCE INVESTIGATOR COURSE

This 150+ page, illustrated course is fully inclusive, and takes you step-by-step through the most frequently reported phenomena, the normal explanations of them, and the likelihood that the phenomena indicate a haunted location. The course materials include your textbook, worksheets, identification cards, and Certification.

Certification provided on the CD: Psychic Disturbance Investigator, and Paranormal Disturbance Analyst. (Both certifications are provided at no extra charge, and mean approximately the same thing.)

After this course, you are qualified to: Investigate haunted sites to determine if they are probably haunted and suited to further study. Or, help the client resolve the normal explanations so that he/she is no longer frightened by them.

This is a complete course, and prepares you for a part-time business that you can develop into a full-time career on its own, or continue your studies to offer your clients more complete services.

(This course is required to be fully certified as a Professional Paranormal Investigator, through Hollow Hill. You'll combine it with the Paranormal Investigator Course to offer professional-level services to your clients.)
