Thank you for your interest in Hollow Hill. With over 10,000 visitors to this website daily -- many of whom have comments or questions -- we cannot reply to most letters. At this time, our staff are mostly volunteers who have other jobs and pursue ghost hunting part-time.

We receive hundreds of emails daily (and thousands every day during October), and read all of them. Your comments help us add more helpful information to this website. Thank you for your interest!

Contact information

  • If you would like us to link to your website, or you are reporting a broken link, contact link @ our domain name. We generally update our links quarterly.

  • We are always interested in hearing about hauntings at sites that are open to the public. We generally do not list hauntings in private residences. To tell us about a ghost that you've encountered or heard about, use either the Contact form or Feedback form, linked below.

  • To share your comments or questions (except media questions) use the following links to our Contact and Feedback forms. (Feedback can be left anonymously.) Remember: We read all emails, but--at this time--cannot reply.

MEDIA CONTACT

  • If you are writing to us from the media or a production company, we're eager to be helpful. If you're just looking for ideas, we can suggest sites. If you're in pre-production and need a guide (on- or off-camera), ask about our current schedules.

At Halloween, we're contacted by dozens of newspapers, magazines, and radio & TV stations. We enjoy working with the media and will provide interviews as time permits. Contact us early!

Our media-related resources are listed at More media resources.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • If you're having a ghost problem, see our page, How to Deal with a Problem Ghost. Soon, we will have a page of respected consultants to help you. Until then, we cannot reply to requests for help with ghosts.

  • We do not do private investigations and we are not exorcists. See our suggestions, below, if you need help.
  • If you're looking for a ghost-hunting group, use search engines with the words ghosts, hunting, and then the name of your nearest city. Most cities have ghost-hunting clubs.

However, never meet strangers in isolated places for ghost hunts. Also, guard your personal information (name, address, phone, workplace, etc) carefully, even among those who seem perfectly normal and stable.

  • If you need help with a school report: There is more than enough information here and elsewhere on the web, as well as in the books that we recommend.

  • If you would like to copy some of our website materials for your own site, don't. We use Copyscape's services to detect copyright violations. In March 2005, nearly a dozen complete websites were removed from the Internet because they had copied our webpages and/or our photos.

In some cases, we allow other sites to use our materials, but only if the quoted text carries our copyright notice as well as a link back to HollowHill.com. If you do not have our signed permission via snailmail, you do not have our permission to use HollowHill.com materials.

We hate to be this ferocious about copyright issues, and we realize that the problem is caused by a very small number of people who either don't understand copyright or are "scraping" sites for content... and putting it in their "members only" section so that they can make money.

If you have been using HollowHill.com text and/or photos, please contact us immediately before Copyscape discovers the problem. Once copyright violations have been reported to your server, there is nothing that we can do about it.

  • If you have written a ghost story, we cannot respond to fiction, no matter how well-written. We recommend the latest editions of 2006 Writers Market and Novel & Short Story Writers Market 2006. Your library probably owns a copy of Writers Market.

  • Regarding demons - The expert in demonology is John Zaffis. Please contact him.

We are always eager to hear your comments and questions. Often, they help us to add more helpful pages to this website.

If you're writing about Disney's Haunted Mansion,
the subject of graceymansion.com

We do not work for Disney, do not represent them in any way, cannot advise you on copyright issues, and your letters will not be seen by anyone employed by the Walt Disney Company. We cannot advise you on Disney products, including software.

If you have questions or comments about the Disney-related pages at this website, contact Emily Gracey at egracey *at* hollowhill.com.

Emily is not a travel agent, and cannot advise you on your vacation plans. She creates the Gracey Mansion webpages as a hobby and a tribute to Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction.

The Gracey Mansion pages are primarily fiction. Emily is flattered that some people take them seriously, but please remember, many of the photos are from sites far outside Disney theme parks.

Thanks!
